Meet Savannah
Hello! My name is Savannah, and I’m so glad you’re here. Caring for and teaching children has been my passion for over 15 years, and I’m excited to share a little about myself and the heart behind my in-home child care program.
I have worked with children in a variety of professional settings, from preschools to specialized programs for children with unique needs. I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), licensed for the past 8 years, and a licensed QBS Safety-Care trainer.
One of my favorite roles was running a preschool readiness program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), where I taught the foundational skills they needed to thrive in kindergarten. I discovered how important it is to slow down, connect, and create activities that honor each child’s unique way of learning. That experience has stayed with me and is at the center of my child care program. Here, I make sure every little one feels seen, cared for, and encouraged, with activities that spark joy and confidence while helping them grow at their own pace, just like family.
Education is also very important to me. I studied Special Education at UNC Charlotte and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology to further expand the ways I can support children and families. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring that your child is always cared for in a safe and prepared environment.
On the personal side, I live in Charlotte, near Mint Hill, with my husband and our amazing baby daughter, born July of 2025. When I am not caring for children I enjoy spending time cooking new recipes, playing board games, and exploring nature.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and enriching place to grow. My goal is to provide a loving, structured environment where children can build confidence, explore their interests, and develop the skills they need to succeed, not just in school, but in life.
